How points work
| Olympic-distance place | Points |
Points follow a WTCS-style scale — 1st place is worth 1000 points at Olympic distance, scoring down through 20th (0 beyond that). Sprint results score ×0.5 and Half results score ×1.5 of the same scale, so a Sprint win is 500 points and a Half win is 1500. Every athlete is ranked in Overall (all ages, by gender) using their place among everyone of that gender — plus separately in Masters (40-59) or Grand Master (60+) using their place within just that age bracket, if they qualify. The season's Overall champion isn't also counted in Masters or Grand Master, even if age-eligible, so the age-group titles go to someone else. Every athlete's best 5 results count toward their season total in each category — the rest still show on their race profile but don't affect points.
